Work parties are usually held on a weekend for 4 hours. This is where a number of maintenance jobs, such as painting, putting up a new play structure, etc. are done. Parents are also able to fulfill this requirement with individual projects. We ask that parents participate in one work party (or equivalent) equaling a total of 4 hours per year. If a family is not able to meet this requirement, a $100 payment may be remitted instead.
Examples of work party activities:
Cleaned backyard
Sanded and painted backyard wooden structures
Washed outdoor toys and tricycles
Examples of individual projects:
Tiled front entrance
Replaced kitchen sink disposer
